Urakawa
Urakawa (浦河町 Urakawa-chō) is the sole township of Urakawa District, in the central southern part of Hidaka Subprefecture between Tokachi Subprefecture and the Pacific Ocean.
The JR Hidaka railway line passes through Urakawa, with stations at Ogifushi (荻伏), Efue (絵笛), Urakawa (浦河), Higashichō (東町) and Hidaka-horobetsu (日高幌別).
In 2006, Urakawa had a population of 15,018. It has a land area of 694 km².
