Shimizu
Shimizu (清水町 Shimizu-chō) is a town in Kamikawa District, in the west of Tokachi Subprefecture. It is located east of the Hidaka Mountains and includes some upland areas. The main industries are dairy and arable farming.
The main JR Nemuro railway line from Sapporo to Obihiro passes through Shimizu, with stations at Tokachi-Shimizu (十勝清水), Haobi (羽帯) and Mikage (御影).
In 2006, Shimizu had a population of 10,688. It has a land area of 402 km².
