Niikappu District
Niikappu (新冠郡 Niikappu-gun) is a district in Hidaka Subprefecture. It occupies an area in the central northern part of the subprefecture. A long thin territory, it stretches from the Hidaka Mountains to the Pacific Ocean. This district only includes one township: Niikappu.
In 2008, the district had a population of 5,982. The total area is 586 km².
