Kasai District
Kasai (河西郡 Kasai-gun) is a district in Tokachi Subprefecture. Non-contiguous - Nakasatsunai and Sarabetsu villages are separated from Memuro Town by the city of Obihiro - it occupies an area in the central western part of the subprefecture).
In 2006, the district had a population of 26,486. The total area is 983 km².
