Ikeda
Ikeda (本別町 Ikeda-chō) is an agricultural township in Nakagawa District, on the eastern side of Tokachi Subprefecture. It is famous for its vineyards and wine production.
The main JR Nemuro railway line from Obihiro to Kushiro passes through Ikeda, with stations at Toshibetsu (利別), and Ikeda (池田).
In 2006, Ikeda had a population of 8,331. It has a land area of 372 km².
